Reflection/Text-based Protocols
Taking Notes For this in class assignment I most favored taking notes. We were tasked to read an article and take basic notes on what we felt was important. In class we were placed in individual groups to discuss. I liked how I was able to hear everyone's perspective on the topic of the article, how they viewed certain parts and shared points they found was most important. Some of the things we discussed I hadn’t realized and unpacked which gave me not only a new understanding of the article but the thought process of someone else who might have thought differently. This helped me understand the article better because it wasn’t just me trying to interpret the article. The time limit was a bit restricting. I felt as though I could say what was on my mind in less time than was needed but I also feel that it helped move along the process to hear everyone's explanations.
